PCI and Oxygen Enrichment

This is one of the major improvement project with a high capital cost. It consists of Pulverised Coal Injection and Oxygen Enrichment. PCI will be used to charge coal fines into the furnace, which will replace some amount of coke. By Oxygen Enrichment, air containing richer oxygen will be used. The main objective of this combined project is to make the whole system efficient- both in terms of cost and operations. The expected time of commissioning of this project will be in Q4 FY19
